RESOLUTION NO.  2003-3218

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI SPRINGS; CANVASSING RETURNS OF THE RUN-OFF ELECTION OF APRIL 15, 2003, AND DECLARING RESULTS THEREOF

                        WHEREAS, a run-off election was held in and for the City of Miami Springs on April 15, 2003, and said election was duly and properly held in accordance with law;

                        NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI SPRINGS, FLORIDA:

                        Section 1: That returns of the run-off election held in and for the City of Miami Springs on April 15, 2003 have been canvassed by the City Council and it has been determined that PETER PACHECO has been elected to the office of City Council in Group III;

                        Section 2: That a certified copy of the return sheet for the April 15, 2003 run-off election is attached to and made a part of this resolution.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Miami Springs, Florida, this 16^th day of April, 2003.

The motion to adopt the foregoing resolution was offered by Councilman Caudle, seconded by Vice Mayor Elza, and on roll call the following vote ensued:
